The Roosevelt Apartments: een oase van stijl en comfort Op een steenworp afstand van ons hotel kunt u genieten van een unieke verblijfservaring in een van onze vier prachtige appartementen. Elk appartement heeft een eigen karakter, sfeer en kleur, Azur Appartement: een hemelsblauw paradijs. Dit appartement is geïnspireerd door de kleur van de lucht en de zee, en straalt rust en ruimte uit. Het heeft een oppervlakte van 40 m2, een aparte slaapkamer en een eigen terrasje van 15 m2, waar u kunt genieten van het uitzicht op de beroemde Abdij en de kerktoren ‘De Lange Jan’. Het appartement bevindt zich op de tweede etage, die alleen met de trap bereikbaar is.

Our Comfort rooms with air conditioning are atmospherically furnished and equipped with all amenities. Each room is individually decorated in a stylish 1950s-chic style.

The rooms feature a comfortable box spring bed and a seating area; some also have a desk. The bed is queen- or kingsize (160/180 × 210 cm) and fitted with a top mattress, so there is no gap between mattresses. The bed cannot be split.

Furthermore the room features Nespresso coffee and tea facilities, a small fridge, a safe, minibar, TV with Chromecast (Netflix/YouTube) and a private wifi network. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin.

Most Comfort rooms are located on the ground floor. Only room 6 is accessible via stairs. Some rooms overlook the city, while others offer views of the famous abbey complex or our hotel garden.

Private terrace: Two of our Comfort double rooms (rooms 4 and 5) have a small private terrace.

Our Deluxe double rooms with air conditioning are 25m2, individually decorated in stylish boutique style, each with its own character.

The rooms feature a comfortable king-size box spring bed (180 × 210 cm) with a top mattress, so there is no gap between the mattresses. There is also a seating area and a desk.

Our Duplex Junior (Small) Suites with air conditioning are spread over two floors and feature a separate living and sleeping area. Each suite is unique and individually furnished.

The living room with seating area is located on the lower floor. The bedroom is one floor up and is accessible via an internal staircase. The comfortable queen or kingsize boxspring bed (160/180 × 210 cm) is fitted with a topper, so there is no gap between the mattresses. The bed cannot be split and adding an extra bed is not possible.

The suites feature two flat-screen TVs with Chromecast (Netflix/YouTube), Nespresso coffee and tea facilities, a small fridge, hairdryer, safe and private wifi network. The rain shower, toilet and sink are located in separate spaces.

The Duplex Junior Suites are located on the first floor and offer views of the historic center of Middelburg. They are accessible via the central staircase or lift.

The sleeping area is accessible via an internal staircase. In some Duplex Suites this staircase is steeper than in others. This may make these suites less suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who need to use the toilet frequently at night.

Our Duplex Suites are spread over two floors, with a separate bedroom and living area. The distinctive layout and stylish interior make a stay in these suites a unique experience.

No two Duplex Suites are alike. Each suite has its own layout and design, inspired by the elegant style of the 1950s. All suites are equipped with air conditioning and feature a comfortable box spring bed and a seating area. Some suites also have a sofa or desk.

The bathroom features a rain shower, a separate toilet and toiletries from Atelier Rebul.

Each Duplex Suite is equipped with two Smart TVs, free wifi, Nespresso coffee and tea facilities, a mini fridge, hairdryer and safe.

Depending on location, the suite offers views of Middelburg's historic center, the famous Abbey or our courtyard.

Our Family Suite consists of two rooms and features air conditioning. The suite is located on the first floor on the side of the building, with a view of the historic city center of Middelburg. The suite features a queen size bed of 160 x 210 cm, which cannot be separated. Additionally, there is a sofa bed with pull-out bed of 160 x 200 cm, suitable for a maximum of 2 children up to 12 years old.

The two rooms can be separated from each other with a curtain. The suite features a comfortable seating area and two flat-screen Smart TVs with Chromecast, allowing you to stream Netflix and YouTube, among other services.

Furthermore, the suite includes Nespresso coffee and tea facilities, a mini refrigerator, hair dryer and safe. The suite has 2 and its own wifi network. The rain shower, toilet and washbasin are located separately from each other.

The Family Suite is located on the first floor and is accessible via the central staircase or lift.

Our unique Presidential Suite features no less than 56 m² our largest and most distinctive suite. The impressive ceiling height of 8 meters and the stylish interior make a stay in this suite a unique experience.

The suite features a distinctive parquet floor, a spacious work area with large desk and a comfortable seating area with two sofas and a coffee table. Centrally located in the room is a generous Super Kingsize box spring bed of 200 x 220 cm with premium mattress, ensuring no perceptible seam between mattresses.

Via a wide internal staircase you reach the distinctive, elevated bathroom. Here you will find a freestanding two-person designer bathtub, two rain showers side by side and two opposite-facing wash basins. Additionally, the suite features a luxury Geberit shower toilet.

For entertainment there is a flatscreen Smart TV with Chromecast, allowing you to stream Netflix and YouTube among others. The suite has its own wifi network and is fully equipped with air conditioning.

De Roosevelt Apartments are located just 20 meters from Hotel The Roosevelt. The four stylishly decorated apartments each have a unique interior and feature their own terrace, air conditioning, pantry and bathroom with rain shower and Geberit douche toilet.

Azur Apartment
The Azur Apartment of 40 m² has, as the name suggests, blue as the central color theme and a completely unique character. The apartment is located on the second floor and has a private terrace of 15 m² with a view of the famous Abbey and the Lange Jan.

The apartment has a special, high bedroom with a ceiling height of no less than 6 meters. Here is a comfortable double box spring bed of 180 x 210 cm. The bedroom can be closed off from the separate living area via a door.

In the living area you will find a spacious seating area with a sofa that can be converted into a sofa bed of 140 x 190 cm, a dining area and a desk. The apartment also has two flat-screen TVs and its own wifi network.

The pantry is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and kettle. The bathroom has a hand and rain shower and a sink. There is also a Geberit douche toilet.

The entire apartment is air-conditioned.

Mint Apartment
The spacious Mint Apartment of 52 m² has green as its central color theme and features a generous private terrace of no less than 50 m² . The apartment is located on the first floor and has a charming wooden floor.

From the hallway you reach the spacious living room of 27 m², furnished with a large sofa, armchair, dining area and desk. The pantry is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and kettle. The apartment features a separate bedroom with a comfortable kingsize boxspring bed of 180 x 210 cm .

The bathroom is equipped with a hand and rain shower and a sink. Special about the Mint Apartment is the large bathtub – this is the only Roosevelt Apartment that features a bathtub. The entire apartment is air-conditioned and features free wifi and two flatscreen TVs with Chromecast.
