Do you have a question about your data? Please contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month.

When you book a room. Your name, address, email address, phone number, arrival and departure date, number of guests and any special requests. We need this data to fulfill our agreement with you: reserve the room, confirm your booking, receive you and send an invoice.

When you reserve a table at The Lounge. Your name, phone number or email address, the time and number of people — to hold the table for you and contact you if anything changes.

When you pay. Payment is processed via Stripe. Your card or account details are received and processed by Stripe; we do not see them. We only receive whether the payment was successful and the amount involved.

When you use the contact form. What you enter yourself, so we can answer your question.

When you sign up for our newsletter. Your email address and whether you open and click our messages, so we can see what is and isn't being read. You can unsubscribe from each newsletter with one click.

When you visit the website. See our cookie policy. We only collect statistics and advertising data if you consent to it.

For a booking, reservation and payment: the performance of the agreement. For our administration and the statutory retention requirement of the Tax Authority: a legal obligation. For the newsletter and for statistics and marketing cookies: your consent, which you can always withdraw. For the security of our website and prevention of misuse: our legitimate interest.

We do not sell your data and only share it with parties necessary to provide our service:

• Stripe — to process payments.
• Google — for Google Tag Manager and the statistics loaded with it, but only after you have consented to it. The fonts and icons on this site are also retrieved from Google and Font Awesome.
• Our hosting and email providers — who operate the website and send our emails. They process your data solely on our behalf.
• Booking channels — if you book through a reservation site, we receive your data from that channel and their own terms also apply.

Processing agreements have been concluded with these parties. Processing outside the European Economic Area only takes place with appropriate safeguards.

We retain booking and invoice data for seven years; that is the retention period required by tax legislation. We keep your newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe. Messages via the contact form we keep as long as necessary to handle your question and for a maximum of two years thereafter. Data we no longer need, we delete.

You have the right to view your data, have it corrected or deleted. You can restrict processing, object, and receive your data in a readable file. If you have given permission, you can always withdraw it — this has no effect on what happened before.

Send a request to info@hoteltheroosevelt.com. We may ask for an identity document to ensure we give the data to the right person; please cover your passport photo and citizen service number.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
